    Hey Kevin,
When you and Lita sit down to watch True Lies (if you haven't already) call me up! I haven't seen it yet either =P.

Don't forget that you can also see live acts at select Hard Rock Cafes.

If you heard that Austrian food is bad, then you haven't tried Wiener Schnitzel. NO! not the American chain restaurant... I mean real Austrian Wiener Schnitzel. Veal coated in bread crumbs and fried. Delicious!

So as is becoming somewhat common, I’m posting a few corrections and some additions to what I said on the podcast. First off, I was wrong when I said Schwarzenegger won the title of Mr. Universe 7 times. From what I found, he only won that 5 times. He was in fact Mr. Olympia 7 times.

And I forgot to mention the rather amusing experience I had when I watched “Predator” in the theater. This was back in the summer of ’87 and my family took our usual summer trip to South Korea mainly to visit family. And since “Predator” just came out and my aunts really like to watch big action movies, we all went to a rather large theater. Although I don’t know the Korean policy for this these days, back then, they were very strict about not letting children into rated R movies. And since I was 9 at the time, that included me and also my brothers. So initially the people in the box office refused to let us watch the movie until my aunt rather matter of factly stated it was ok because my brothers and I were American which quickly settled the issue and we were all allowed to see the movie. I really don’t know how that argument worked but luckily it did.

@ Chris: Make mine Jaeger Schnitzel with venison. Knew a Croatian guy back home who made it just right ... perfect thing to lift a snowy mid-winter afternoon.

You have me intrigued. Wouldn't happen to know any places in Northern California where I can try this by any chance?

There's a place in Alameda actually that serves various schnitzel dishes called Speisekammer Restaurant. It's a German restauran, but I had a jaeger schnitzel when I went (Written as "Jägerschnitzel vom Schwein" on their menu which I can only assume is comparable to the Austrian version). It came with spatzel, some bread with a nice compound butter, and a small plate with some lettuce topped with pickled vegetables.

The food was okay, somewhat pricey for the amount of food you get. I really liked the pickled veges though. If you google them, they have a website with their menu.

Alas, no, sir. I'm in Jakarta, so you're probably much closer to a schnitzel source than me.
