I found out what the room with the floating words was. It was called "The Hole of Hush" from the "Get Smart Again" movie.

Throughout the recording of this episode, I was trying to remember this movie I saw way back when. I'm not sure if I actually mentioned it during the recording, but an early spy film I remember was a pretty bad movie starring Richard Grieco called "If Looks Could Kill" from 1991.

And by the way, the Cone of Silence was not how Dom described. It's a couple of domes that descend over the agents heads so they can talk to each other without others listening in. The only problem is it never really works and they end up not being able to hear each other. The room with the floating words is a different thing, but I don't know the name of it.

Yes, that's right. I should have remembered that because of the fact that Madonna was in the movie and she sang "Die Another Day".

That's because capitalizing and adding an exclamation point after any poll option will get it more votes; it's the joke answer!

I agree. All throughout the episode I was waiting for even one mention of Burn Notice. The Michael Westen explanations and spy tips are awesome.

As the current site poll is "Who is the best James Bond?" I would like to direct everyone over to a similar poll which was run some months ago asking the same question, though with a slightly different set of options: http://irregularwebcomic.net/polls/poll0050.html

Currently here, as happened over there, Connery is beating the pants off all other Bonds combined. Of course, this should come as no surprise.

I need to go and watch the Sean Connery Bond movies. Actually, there are a lot of movies I need to see, but it feels good to have a list made.

Hi S-Words,

In the Double Jeopardy round of Jeopardy today, there was a category '...dies by the "S"-Word.' Unfortunately, none of the correct responses were "Dom's Touching Games."

Burn Notice is Danny's baby... He's got Dom started on it, but I don't know how far they've gotten. From the few episodes I've seen, I equate Burn Notice more with the Bond/Bourne level of spyness (the cool and competent operative). But with Chuck, the major appeal is its nerdity (and shout outs and in jokes...), with a little bit of the spy stuff thrown in :)

Besides, as geeks, we feel kinship with Chuck. Probably moreso than the much-more-suave Westen.

I thought I should point this out, but repeatedly throughout this episode, you mixed up "The World is Not Enough" with "Die Another Day". "The World is Not Enough" had the oil Baroness and the villain who could not feel anything (hot, cold, pain, touch in general.) "Die Another Day" was about the North Koreans, diamonds, an ice hotel, and a giant space mirror/laser.

Shaky Cam is annoying because either I miss a lot of the action, and then I get the feeling that the stunt action is crap and they're hiding it with the camera work.
