   Phineas and Ferb is pretty awesome. It builds on its own jokes over time...

   A (Latin) is from alpha (Greek) which is from aleph (Phoenician). The main theory from there goes that the ox origin of the Phoenician letter is based on the Egyptian heiroglyph... That's as far as my etymology knowledge goes on that.
